Christopher Lloyd Bratten-Zappala is a Los Angeles–based musician and creator whose work spans music, theatre, artist development, and arts education. Over more than two decades, he has worked as a pianist, music director, composer, arranger, educator, and creative leader—including co-founding and serving as music director and music supervisor for For The Record, working with Deaf West Theatre and Center Theatre Group, and music directing for artists including Billy Porter, Adam Pascal, Eden Espinosa, and Rumer Willis.
Through CLBZ Works, Christopher develops original creative projects, coaches performers, creates masterclasses and educational resources, and hosts At The Vanguard, a podcast exploring artistry, creativity, and the future of the arts. His current work includes a new musical adaptation in development. Across his work, he is guided by a commitment to artistic excellence, meaningful transformation, and the capacity of the arts to contribute to human flourishing.
